| Policy of Mutual Respect What we believe: We believe as musicians and artists that the Academy’s environment is one where all students can reach their full potential. To reach that full potential, musicians need a setting where they can take risks and feel confident that they will be treated with the utmost respect. We apply this every day in our teaching. Fellow students have a role in each others’ success, too. This comes from supporting each other and treating each other with respect, whether during academy activities or in school or elsewhere. What we expect from our students: We expect our students to treat their music instructors and each other with respect at all times. We expect our students to encourage each other musically and to never ‘put down’ another academy student regarding their musical ability or performance. Violation of this policy may lead to a student being dismissed from the academy or being restricted from participating in group events. |
